London’s cycle superhighways ‘make roads more dangerous for motorbikes’ | London Evening Standard

London’s cycle superhighways have made the capitals roads more dangerous for motorcyclists, it was claimed today. The Motorcycle Action Group (MAG) said cycle superhighways slow traffic down, increase pollution and are “a waste of money”. They called for a rethink of the capital’s expanding cycle network. But thousands of Londoners have benefited from the cycle superhighways, with figures suggesting roads with segregated cycle lanes are seeing a higher capacity of moving passengers since their introduction.
